It's been a little over a week since my last blog post so I thought i'd better keep you updated with what i'm up to.
As you know, a couple of weeks ago I released my new song "Hurricane", which had great success; hitting number 3 on the iTunes Country Charts within 24 hours. I'm still getting lots of lovely messages too about the song which is fantastic.
Since releasing, I've been busy with interviews, radio play and I've been chatting to lots of interesting people! My song has been played on BBC Introducing in Cumbria, Bay Trust Radio, Bolton FM and KFM radio. It's been amazing!
Here's me all excited about being in the paper.
I've had a lot of people asking what the song is about. It's a really personal song and I didn't really hold back with it! Here is an interview I had with Belles and Gals where I tell them all about it.
So what's next? Hurricane is currently my main focus; pushing it's promotion because I'm so proud of it and I worked really hard on it. I believe it really needs to be heard far and wide.
I am also working towards my next album!
Exciting, I know.
I'm writing music that I believe is my best yet. I feel comfortable that I'm now focusing on a pop/country genre with my own music and it all feels as though it is falling into place. I'm really taking my time with the production though so I'm unsure when my album will be released.
I've got a few gigs lined up too (check out my events page for more information!) where I'll be performing songs from Fairytales and my new music too!
So all in all, things are going good!
I hope you're as excited as me for new music coming soon! I want to hear your thoughts about my new song too, leave me a comment below and lets chat.
PS. here is another great feature that came out today in Belles and Gals - Thanks guys!
